In general, the unit is IP55 rated but IP65 rated casing can be offered based on projects. 
The bi-directional operation makes it suitable for universal access control applications. The system is designed for integration with any access control panel with options for any reader RFID, biometrics, QR readers etc.  The metal readers of Nund 1.0 series or any other brand can be embedded as customised option.  In case of power failure, the top arm will drop down automatically. Alternatively this function can be trigerred by a signal from fire alarm system or manually by staff, allowing for a fast evacuation of guests and personnel in emergency situations. When power supply is restored or the emergency signal suspended, arms will return to standard operating position.

HOUSING

Nundnet NU9371ST uses SUS304/316 stainless steel that has excellent resistance to a wide range of atmospheric environments and many corrosive media. It is subject to pitting and crevice corrosion in warm chloride environments and to stress corrosion cracking above about 60°C. It is considered resistant to potable water with up to about 200 mg/L chlorides at ambient temperatures, reducing to about 150 mg/L at 60 °C.

This device is designed to provide the reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
